Unable to Load Datapool
Hello all
we have installed VIM 16.3.3, IES 16.6 Patch 01 and Validation Client for SAP Solution 16.6 Patch 01.
Two comments :
- If you upgrade to VIM 16.3.3, and you have to use IES 16.6. IES 16.5 is not compatible. If you don't upgrade, you will think it works until you try to retrieve an invoice to validate in the Validation Client. It will fail with message "Unable to load datapool. The document URI is null and the datapool workitem URI is null. SAPLink(Validation, DocumentId=000000000006, ActivityRetryNr=0)][System.Exception: Unable to load datapool. The document URI is null and the datapool workitem URI is null. SAPLink(Validation, DocumentId=000000000006, ActivityRetryNr=0) ---> System.Exception: The document URI is null and the datapool workitem URI is null".
- On IES, please consider that if you have to upgrade to IES 16.6, in reality, you have uninstall your version and install 16.6 with its patch 01. It is not really an upgrade. So this implies you have republish your profiles and rerun the bc staging reports. Next article will be on the validation client for SAP Solutions with IES 16.6
